The modules
A comprehensive deep dive into the seventeen facets of fragrance — from Citrus and Aldehyde through Chypre and Musk. Over nine two-hour sessions you’ll work through some two hundred perfumery ingredients and fine fragrances: memorizing the key raw materials of each facet, comparing naturals with their synthetic counterparts, and studying the iconic fragrances that illustrate every family. Intense smelling exercises train your nose to identify and differentiate the notes that matter; just as deliberately, the program builds the vocabulary to describe them — so that what you can smell, you can also say.
The Olfactorium
Every participant receives four Olfactoriums — together holding roughly two hundred perfumery ingredients and fine fragrances — plus a custom course workbook, all included in the tuition. Produced by Cinquième Sens in Paris and shipped from the atelier, they’re your working instruments for all nine sessions and yours to keep. Olfactoriums may be shared by participants in the same room; otherwise, each person needs their own set.

Four Olfactoriums — ~200 ingredients and fine fragrances.
